Job description

Deputy Contract Manager - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Overview

Our client is one of the world's largest and most specialised construction groups that are now making great strides in the Saudi Arabian infrastructure market. With further expansion in the region, they are continuing to invest in their core contract management function. They are seeking senior people to work closely with the group management to deliver commercial success across their key projects.

As a European company with a reputation for having some of the sharpest contract management minds in their space, they are seeking key experts who have been exposed to and involved in claims and dispute resolution. With an annual turnover of over EUR 14 billion and over 80,000 employees worldwide, they are renowned for their involvement and leadership in some of the world's most iconic civil infrastructure projects.

The Role

As the business continues to expand across Saudi Arabia, they are looking to appoint a Deputy Contract Manager for one of the region's most cultural and historic infrastructure developments. Ideally, you will have worked in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East within the international construction environment. If not, it is a must that you have worked on large overseas civil infrastructure projects including but not limited to tunnels, water, highway, rail, stations, and complex build.

You

As someone with a strong experience in Contract Management, you will be a degree-qualified quantity surveyor or engineer. The role would not suit someone from purely a legal or economic background. You will know about employer and/or subcontractor management, contract negotiation and drafting, claims and variation orders, and dispute resolution. Furthermore, you have a stable work history and will be seeking a permanent appointment with the business in Saudi Arabia. Fluency in both spoken and written English is essential.

Interview Process & Start Date

The interview process will include 3 stages and the required start date is as soon as reasonably possible.
