Job description

Overview:

This role offers exposure across the full dispute lifecycle, from live project advisory and claim development through to formal expert witness support in arbitration and litigation proceedings.

Assignments will range from formal dispute proceedings to proactive claims support and project advisory mandates.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and interrogate construction programmes (Primavera P6/MS Project)
• Analyse contemporaneous project records, correspondence, and contractual documentation
• Support the drafting of expert reports and technical memoranda
• Assist in preparation for arbitration hearings, litigation, and mediation proceedings
• Provide strategic delay advisory input on live projects
• Collaborate with quantum, technical, and legal specialists
• Participate in client meetings and expert discussions
• Contribute to internal knowledge development and methodology refinement

Profile Required:

• 6–12+ years’ experience in planning, delay analysis, or construction claims
• Strong technical expertise in forensic delay methodologies
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
• Experience supporting arbitration, litigation, or formal dispute processes desirable
• Background in infrastructure, energy, civil engineering, or major building projects preferred
• Fluent French speaker (essential) with strong written report capability
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Confident communicator capable of engaging with lawyers, clients, and senior experts
• Chartered or working toward professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS, MCIArb, CIOB, ICE or equivalent) advantageous

What Sets This Opportunity Apart:

• Direct exposure to recognised delay experts and expert witness mandates
• Full dispute lifecycle involvement, project advisory through to expert testimony support
• Growing French and European platform with international reach
• High-quality, technically rigorous work environment
• Flexible working model (France-based or remote)
• Clear progression pathway within a specialist disputes consultancy
