Quantity Surveyor, Slovakia (Immediate Start)

 

Overview

Our client is one of the world's largest and most specialized construction groups. With an annual turnover of over €14 billion EUR and over 80,000 employees worldwide, they are now seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor on a 3 month contract in Slovakia. The role requires an immediate start.

Your Role

As a qualified or experienced Quantity Surveyor you will have experience working on large scale civil infrastructure projects and ideally highways and bridge works. The majority of your career will have been spent working for contractors and you will have a strong background in measurements, take-offs, subcontract management, monthly reporting, payment applications, variation orders, and claims preparation.

The main scope of the role will be to connect and collate evidence on historical claims and you will be supporting the Area Contract Manager in their arbitration preparation.

Key Requirements

  • Quantity Surveyor with main contractor experience.
  • Exposure to claims.
  • Available to start immediately or at 2 weeks notice maximum.
  • Due to immediate nature of role you must be an EU citizen or have the right to work in the EU.
  • Can be based and work on site in Slovakia.

Location

The role is full-time and site-based in Slovakia.

Rate & Package

Ideally, you will be set up to be paid through a limited company, but if not it would not discount you from the role. As such, the rate will be discussed upon application.

You will be provided with a mobilization and demobilization flight as well as accommodation and car for the duration of the assignment.
