Construction Manager - Mozambique

Your Role
As the business continues to expand internationally, they are now looking to make a key Construction Manager appointment in Afungi, Mozambique. Ideally, you will have worked in an international construction environment. If not, it is a must that you have worked on large civil projects and/or contracts.
As a Construction Manager you will supervise the installation of materials, primarily steel structures ranging from light to heavy categories, ensuring adherence to the agreed execution time frame with the client CCS JV. You will be responsible for managing all activities assigned to a subcontractor (installation only), defining execution phases including HSE, construction supervision, inspection, and quality control. Additionally, you will manage project costs, interface with regulatory authorities, and oversee plant start-up and turnover to the client.

- Capacity to work independently and organize resources;
- leadership and resources management;
- Problem-solving attitude;
- Professional knowledge in English language.
- Proficient use of MS office.
- Minimum 15 years of proven experience as a Construction Manager in Industrial Building Works projects (steel structure bldg. is a pre-requisite);
- Strong track records: successful completion of similar Project with a Contract amount (70 Million Euro) and kind of works (construction company background) from start to finish;
- Skilled in management of all applicable technical documents;
- Knowledge of contract T&C in regards of construction projects;
- Diploma tecnico o Civil Engineer.
