Overview

Our client is one of the world's leading civil construction groups, with an annual turnover exceeding €50 billion and a workforce of over 100,000 employees worldwide. As a key player in global infrastructure development, the company is responsible for constructing some of the world’s most prestigious projects.

As the company continues to evolve, they are now looking to strengthen its Contract Management Department with a Contract Manager appointment in Turkmenistan for a 1 year contract with the possibility of extension.

You

Ideally, you will have worked within the international construction environment. It is a must that you have worked on large-scale overseas projects, including but not limited to commercial, residential, and data centres.

As an experienced Contract Manager, you will be fluent in English and Russian. Ideally, you will hold a law degree, but our client is equally to those from a quantity surveying, engineering, or construction-related background.

Additionally, you will be:

• Drafting claims and replying to claims in relation to delays, quantum, and defects.
• Letter writing.
• Manage amendments, claims and revaluations, defend our interests
• Contractual strategy
• Negotiating subcontracts.
• Ensure the interpretation, application, and optimization of contracts.
• Raise team awareness of contractual issues and financial risks
• Training future contract managers in Turkmenistan.
